The only problem with this rationalization is that it’s assuming all athiests are so because they’re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent. Which we know just isn’t true.
When someone says an atheist needs faith it’s because they can’t prove anything that happened millions and billions of years ago and more than a christian can prove Jesus did miracles. They don’t really on “proof”, they rely on rationalized theories. Proof PROVES something.
So all agnostics are moderately intelligent then? haha
DUDE! Watch religilous! Bill Mahr’s movie. So good.
If you don’t think scientists can prove things that happened millions or billions of years ago, then you don’t understand science. “Pics or it didn’t happen” does NOT apply to science.
This is not about intelligence. Intelligence hardly comes into it. You can be intelligent and believe in god, you can also be dumb and believe in science. It is about ignorance.
Ignorance is the state in which one lacks knowledge, is unaware of something or chooses to subjectively ignore information. This should not be confused with being unintelligent, as one’s level of intelligence and level of education or general awareness are not the same.
